Pakistan's domestic electricity tariff (NEPRA B-1) uses a progressive slab system where each block of units is charged at its own rate. Consumers are classified as Lifeline (≤100 units), Protected (≤200 units), or Unprotected (above 200 units). The classification determines which rate table applies and whether Sales Tax / GST (18%) is charged.
